About "The Model Agency"
Most people don't actually realize what the fashion industry is like, or even the ballet. Both of them are seen as glamorous and beautiful but what really do 12-16 year old girls know about it , before they know it they have been scouted, the agency will wait until they are 16 to start training them, do they have any say in the matter? " The Modeling Agency" shows how young girls and boys from the age of 10 are scouted and than trained to become a model.
Right now i am about to watch The model agency. I am going to pick bits out of it
"we are not actors we are acting", they are a family and they take care of their models but at the same time they know what the client wants- which is skinny. Below this i am going to put some quotes from the model agency:

"we are not actors we are acting", they are a family and they take care of their models but at the same time they know what the client wants- which is skinny. Below this i am going to put some quotes from the model agency:
"She looks beautiful but sick" - so two sided. where do you go from that?
“these young models come in here, but they no nothing”
"we discovered Naomi when she was 13 and have nurtured her for the last 4 years and she is now ready"
"I got send home because they said my legs where too big" – catalog model
"Gwens fat" "There gonna send her home and get her a personal trainer. "
the worst one i think is "we discovered Naomi when she was 13 and have nurtured her for the last 4 years..." - the reason i think that is because the girls will mostly say yes they are at the age of 13 and the are already looking at all these models in magazines and wouldn't mind being like them, from the outside it is a very glamorous job.
They want a boys body- most casting director come in with outrages requests- they don’t want a lot of flesh on them – hips have to be really small. They want a pretty face on a boys body.
